1. What Motivates you to get out of your bed in the morning ?
Mrs India Contestant : The urge to keep myself fit physically and mentally motivates me to get out of bed early in the morning. Being a self motivator, a sports woman, having represented nationals in women’s cricket and athletics, I have always been an early riser to ensure I keep myself fit and healthy. This practice continues with marriage, child and work.
3. If you can be swap a role of one person from Family who that would be and why
Mrs India Contestant : In my view each one of us are born to serve a certain purpose in our lives and are also bestowed / blessed to be with a particular family. I am extremely happy to be born as me in this incarnation and would not want to swap this role. With my current role, I have not only matured with age but with a whole lot of experiences with graphs rising and dipping. Looking back at how I have emerged, grown and learnt lessons from each relation and situation, gives me immense sense of happiness and satisfaction.
4. What do you do when you are not working ?
Mrs India Contestant : When I am not working, I spend time with my daughter helping her with college projects and her passion which is photography. As an Image Consultant, I also get invited by friends and ex-colleagues as a speaker to spread awareness about Image management, which I gladly do. I also practice alternate healing methods through which I am able to help people who are in need of it.
5. How would you describe Yourself in one Word ? And Why ?
Mrs India Contestant : I am a people’s person. Caring for has been one of my inborn qualities, and my strength too..I guess it is in my genes. I feel for people and can empathise in any given situation without being judgemental. `Caring’ is the word I hear from family and friends when I have asked them to describe me in one word too..
6. Who inspires you and why ?
Mrs India Contestant : My Mom has always been my Inspiration in life. She is the most organized, loving and caring person I have ever seen. Having lost my dad at a very early age, she had the challenge of rearing me and my brother single handedly. Giving us that required independence, she has not only ensured that we grow up very strong physically, mentally and emotionally but also imbibed those cultures and values of life. Even to this day we look upto her for guidance and advise at all levels.
7. What is your favourite Quote and why ?
Mrs India Contestant : ‘Live and Let Live’ has always been my favourite quote ! Life throws different learnings at you in every stage of life and those learnings are either from people or situations which is again connected vice versa. To sum it up, I have learnt so much from people from all walks of life, be it personally or professionally .. this quote will remain my favourite J
8. What is Your Favourite Outfit ?
Mrs India Contestant : My Favourite outfit is a Saree. Its my personal opinion that Indian Women look their best in this attire. 9. If your want to go on Vacation what would be your plan ?
Mrs India Contestant : Our family vacations are usually planned for the whole year which gets divided into fun and spiritual. Yes, spiritual vacations can be fun and rejuvenating.
10. What is your spiritual practice ?
Mrs India Contestant : Spiritual practice to me means to be in harmony and happy with yourself. I have been spiritually inclined from my childhood days. I also practice alternate healing methods like Yoga, Reiki and Pranic Healing for the benefit of myself, my family and humanity.
