Mrs India 2019 Finalist

Mrs India 2018 Finalist

  1. How you start your day?

Mrs India Finalist: I start my day by thanking the almighty to have blessed me with a life of a strong woman endowed with inner beauty and courage. I also thank my parents for upbringing me so well to face the world with love, compassion and face challenges of life with courage and never say die attitude. I start my day praying God to enable me to make at least one person happy and do at least one good thing throughout the day to make difference in people’s life. My day starts with detox water, Maa Druga Shloka with little Indian classical riyaz with my 10 year old son and  half an hour cardio followed by one hour weight training /functional workout and Nirvana Fitness classes with members of an Old age Home.

  1. Your most memorable moment of the Year 2018?

Mrs India Finalist: Being selected as Mrs India Grand Finalist 2018, which gave purpose to my life to become a proud, strong and influential role model inspiring many women around me who left hope to transform their lives and are striving to come out of the dark shadow of discrimination and societal embargos. I still remember the day when I got connected to Deepali Mam, who gave me reason to my life and gave me the wonderful platform of Mrs India to progress forward in my women empowerment initiatives. It was great day of being selected as Mrs India Grand Finalist after losing 50 kgs and transforming my life from a dead model and actor to pursue my dream of becoming successful actor, social influencer uplifting/empowering the women around me.

  1. What you would love to do in your free time?

Mrs India Finalist:  Counsel the needy ones in the Women network I am running, sing my favourite song, share my weight loss secrets and motivate people around me to lose weightJ, spend time with kids from home for cancer patients and take them for ice-cream treatsJ.

  1. What is Your Favourite Outfit?

Mrs India Finalist: Odishi Sambalpuri Saree is my favourite. Apart from Odishi saree, I love wearing everything that makes me feel ‘myself’…comfortable, confident and happy at the place and culture I am in.

  1. What is your favourite Vacation destination, How would you plan it ?

Mrs India Finalist: My favourite vacation destination would be any place where I can rejuvenate by conducting a Nirvana Breathing detoxification session at remote places, write and compose a new song again in the lap of serene and calm nature. I would love to hear song of birds, rhythmic flow of waterfall, murmuring melodies of nature, hearing the romantic heart beats of my husband and would love to sing with my son who shares my musical madness and love towards Indian Classical music and feel its magical experiences during my dreamed vacation. Regarding planning a trip I must admit that I am not too much of a planner if it is not a corporate tour or any professional workshop. If it is a personal trip I like exploratory trips as I feel when life is very uncertain and one should face the life as it comes and enjoy every moment of it.  Adventurous trips with new people to meet, new places to discover, new friends to make, new scenic beauty to discover always excites me.

  1. If you can bring awareness about one Cause in the Society what that could be and Why?

Mrs India Finalist: Whether it is domestic violence against women (physically, mentally and sexually) or female foeticide or school drop out of girls or child labour and abuse or brutal rapes and murders or everyday physical and emotional abuse or sexual harassment at workplace, the figures are drastically bad in India. I would like to bring awareness about treating females with equal opportunity in true senses at home, work place and everywhere.

  1. What is Your Favourite Dish you love to relish anytime?

Mrs India Finalist: Odia special cuisines like Poda Pitha, Dahibara Aloodum Ghuguni, Saga Badichura, Cuttack Chat, Arisa Pitha, Khiri of Puri Jaganath Temple are my favourite dishes. Though the big foody is no more alive in me as I am still try to reduce few more kilograms but my soul will tell you the truth that I also love the home made cake and Biriyani made by my Mom, Bengali style Fish Curry done my Grand Mother, Punjabi Style Rajma Chawal, Rajasthani Dal Bati Churma,  Gujurati Bhakarbadi, Tamil style Nilgiri Mutton with Appam.

  1. If you can eradicate one issue of the society what that could be?

Mrs India Finalist: Given a chance I would like to eradicate gender inequality and try to give equal opportunity to women in true sense and raise social consciousness against RAPE, Discrimination with Girl Child.  Violence against women, physically, mentally and sexually, both inside and outside their homes in our country, bothers me at large. I would like to teach my son to treat every woman with respect so that he can inspire many around him to do so. I would like to encourage every female to start saying “No” when they really mean it and at the same time start teaching/motivating their sons about respecting the meaning of “No” when it is said by Women.

  1. What is the Mantra of your Life?

Mrs India Finalist:  Coming from a Judiciary Family and being a daughter of a powerful and honest Judge and a courageous mother who is a lawyer, the mantra of my life is based on Honesty, Integrity and Compassion. I believe to tolerate injustice is equal to doing injustice and is a sin. Every female has right to say “No to wrong deeds around her”- Boldly, Loudly, Strongly. In my reel and real life both, I believe that the family members and relatives who are our blood relations will always stay as our own people but to make people around us who are not our blood relation feel as our close ones or own family member is a great pleasure in itself.  May it be corporate life, personal life or acting life I strongly believe in earning people rather than monetary or materialistic happiness.

  1. One New thing that You want to learn

Mrs India Finalist: If I get to learn something new, I would like to learn Reiki, Musical Healing to heal many stressed and depressed lives. During my Nirvana Fitness Classes I meet various kinds of patients who are struggling with physical illness. I wish I can spread the magic of Nirvana along with Musical healing and Reiki to physically as well as mentally heal my female patients, elderly patients who are struggling with obesity, rare diseases and due to degeneration. I feel in front of strong determination nothing is impossible. In my everyday schedule, through my little efforts I try to counsel and give mental strength and physical strength to people suffering from societal depression, Job related or other life related stress and detox physically and mentally both. My dream is to cure at least one cancer patient via Nirvana Oxygenation therapy of cells to help save a cancer patient recovers from rare disease like cancer.
