Mrs India 2018 Finalist

  1. How you start your day?

Mrs India Finalist: Most mornings my husband wakes me up at 6:00AM, though I am usually up by 05:45AM and wait for my husband to wake me up. After I wake up, I throw on my workout clothes, hydrate myself and head out for cycling or brisk walks with my best half.I live in the army cantonment which is very close to the nature, so I get added benefits of fresh air early morning.Once I am back home, I have a glass of honey and lemon detox and water my lawn. Post that I have my shower, do the household chores, pray, have heavy breakfast and drive for work by 08:30AM. On my way to work I ring both my mom and mother in law, greet them morning and speak to them for a while and head for the day. These activities have become ritual of my life.

  1. Your most memorable moment of the Year 2018?

Mrs India Finalist: I would like to mention here a very recent one. It was when I received the Email adressing me as Mrs India Finalist 2018. This was always a dream for me and this is the reason I participated in the auditions.  My parents raised me just like many of us blessed people reading this are. The raised me to be brave, confident, taught me how to always voice my opinions. When this Email arrived, I called my both my Mom and Mother In Law (my pillar of strength).I could feel the happiness in their voice from miles away. To pen down, I exactly remember what my mother-in-law said over the phone. She said “ Beta you always make me and papa proud. No one in my 7 generations would have even thought of stepping up and showcasing such talent and taking ahead the name of our family. God bless you always!!”. We hail from Uttar Pradesh and not many daughters in our known are aware and encouraged for standing up for pageants as a role model for the community/ soceity. It gives immense satisfaction at the end of the day when I hit the bed to sleep, to know that both my families are proud of me and they have immense faith in me. Trust me, no other materalistic joy can ever give me bigger satisfaction, than knowing that both the families are happy because of me.

  1. What You would love to do in your free time?

Mrs India Finalist: In my free-time, I love to workout. I belong to the Army fraternity and discipline has become an integral part of my family life. I strongly believe that having a beautiful mind and soul is equally important than just having a beautiful face. Workout profoundly brings positive impact on not just my physical health but also on my mental health.. It boots my overall mood and helps me sleep better at night. In whatever time I can spare out of my household chores and work schedule, I ensure dedicating the remaining time at gym or on tracks.A message for all reading this- “ A little bit of activity is always better than nothing, so make it a habbit and the results will definitely pay you off”.

  1. What is Your Favourite Outfit?

Mrs India Finalist: My favourite outfit is an extension of my personality. I like to keep my look simple, sheek and elegant in the clothes I wear. Looking elegant is a pre-requisite for me. Since I am a working woman, I like to be suited up in workwear most of the time. It reflects my direct, confident, independent, powerful and open-minded personalty.

  1. What is your favourite Vacation destination, How would you plan it ?

Mrs India Finalist: I am a water baby (Scorpion) and vacation for me is for romance. My favourite vacation will be at a luxury beach resort at Maldives. For such a vacation, I will have to probably stretch my pocket, look for packaged deals and pack all beach must haves and start off with my best half(husband).

  1. If you can bring awareness about one Cause in the Society what that could be and Why?

Mrs India Finalist: If I could bring awareness about one cause in the soceity, it will be over mental health, which is more commonplace in our Urban India than our Rural India. Cases of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress related disorders are increasing everyday due to our fast paced lifestyle, stress, nucelar families etc.We Indians are raised differently. In the minor parts of our country, our daughters and our bahus (daughter in laws) are specifically taught not to demand much from life and hide emotions which results in disturbing their physical and mental health. I easily get connected to people and with this trait I would like to spread the importance of being happy and creating an happy and light environment and ways of dealing in tough times. Half the problems are solved when you get the courage to deal with the issues. The message needs to be spread of being mentally healthy for a longer and satisfied life.

  1. What is Your Favourite Dish you love to relish anytime?

Mrs India Finalist: After trying many cuisines and many dishes, my favourite dish of all time is a bowl of fresh salad or vegetable soup. They are not just easy to make and delicious to eat but are also full of nutrients with minimal calories. It makes me feel full whole day.It is not just easy to digest but is also filled with health benefits. On my weekends, I cant resist tandori chicken, afterall our India is land of spice and we Indians are meant to have spicy tongue.

  1. If you can eradicate one issue of the society what that could be?

Mrs India Finalist: RAPE.Sexual violence should have absolutely no space in our democratic soceity. We Indians belong to land of values and wisdom and their should be absolutely no space to live for criminals practicing such violence. If I could eradicate one issue of the society, then it will definitely be such brutal acts of rape and sexual assault carried out across the country on our daughters, on the pride of our nation.

  1. What is the Mantra of your Life?

Mrs India Finalist: For everyone reading this, please know that there is nothing wrong in being flawed. Find fun in it. You dont have to be wake up looking your best. Its okay to look horrible on days. What stays forever is a kind and a giving heart. Be a giver in life and smile at everyone you meet in the whole day because it might be your worst day but dont let it affect the people around you. Make mistakes in life, and learn from them.Stitch all your bad experiences with good intentions.BE VOGUE in whatever pleases you not the soceity. Its time to start living!

  1. One New thing that You want to learn

Mrs India Finalist: Recently for my pageant preparations, I have been hearing a lot about the Law of attaraction from my mother and from a very dear friend of mine. I want to learn deeper about this universal law concept of “Like attracts like”. It seems to be very simple to read and understand but it actually has very deeper meaning attached to it. On learning about this beautiful art which has positively changed so many peoples life across the globe,I will definitely want to implement for self growth and soceity goodness. It is a very powerful and thought provoking concept. I would like to learn all about it.
